I don’t know what it is, but Gianni’s is a restaurant I tend to forget about, yet it really is one of the best that San Ramon has to offer. One thing I really like about it is the fact that it is authentic. The owner, Gianni Bartoletti, is an Italian. And the dishes he offers are also Italian. Blackhawk Grille is one of the oldest established restaurants in the area and I believe it has been in existence as long as Blackhawk Plaza. It has seen some changes over the years though. Initially, and for many years, this was an upscale fine dining establishment. Tastes change though, and a few years ago, they closed for renovations and a complete re-vamp.
