I’m familiar with most home styles in our area (I know I’ve sold a lot of them), and I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t by way of remodels.
I can also give you referrals to general contractors that I trust. People who can provide a turnkey solution from concept to completion.
Perhaps most important, I can tell you what makes financial sense. What kind of remodel will give you the best return on investment if you decide to sell.
If your needs are less ambitious, I can refer you to reliable contractors of all kinds who can help. As a service to homeowners, I maintain a database of contractors that I feel confident in referring. These are either people who I have personally used, those that have been used successfully by my clients or recommendations from fellow Realtors. They include handymen, painters, roofers, plumbers, landscapers and much more.
Are you planning improvements to get your home ready for sale? If you don’t want to have the initial expense, I may be able to help you with that too. If you list your home for sale with me, Compass Concierge can cover the costs of much of the work that will enable you to get a better price for your home such as painting, carpet, lighting, kitchen and bathroom improvements etc. Compass pays for the upfront costs and they are repaid from the sale proceeds at close of escrow.
