When a painter seemed too expensive, he found a less expensive one. When the termite report seemed expensive to fix, he found another less expensive.
When the house was ready, he knew exactly what to do: advertising and conducting open houses, making a beautiful brochure, building a professional level website with a video walk-through.

I recently had to fly in and settle an estate in San Ramon, after asking some local people about someone that knew the local market, I was given 3 names. I wanted someone who had a depth of knowledge and experience handling homes in this neighborhood and knew the intricacies of dealing with a trust sale which are different than a normal sale. I interviewed each of the 3 candidates.
Bernard struck me as having all the criteria I needed. He listened closely to what my needs were and came up with a marketing plan that suited the situation. It was after this that his talents really shined. He provided local contractors that he had personally vetted that did the necessary work on time and on budget. Dovetailing the presale advertising and keeping the public away until the work was finished.
Later we flew home and left the sales process in his capable hands. We had 5 offers after the first weekend. We picked the one that best suited our situation and closed two weeks later. He handled all the paper work using a combination of e documents and a remote title company for signing saving us a trip back to CA.
